Emmy started a new position in February, 2022 as a Patron Services Representative at the La Jolla Playhouse.

 

Emmy spent her 2021 holiday season with Royal Entertainers on the Oceanside Holiday Express Coaster Train as Queen Elsa as well as spreading holiday cheer at events as Ginger the Elf.

Emmy was a Scare Actor (Deadly Toy)  at SeaWorld San Diego's inaugural Howl-O-Scream haunt event during September and October, 2021.

 

Emmy played Libby, a Navy Corpsman in the short film "Life After Oblivion" in the GI Film Festival in May, 2021. The film also  had a virtual screening in February, 2021 as part of the Armed Forces Film Challenge through the Film Consortium San Diego in collaboration with So Say We All.  Hosted by Veteran/ Actor/Comedian BJ Lange.

 

Watch three films written and directed by military veterans and made in San Diego. Featuring readings, film screenings and Q&A’s from local creators The "Armed Forces Film Challenge" tells stories written and directed by military veterans and active duty service members.

Emmy is cast as 'Sydney' in the virtual production Black Flag one of 5 plays in the Free Play: Open Source Scripts Toward an Antiracist Tomorrow series written by Idris Goodwin, Directed by Khalia Davis.

BLACK FLAG finds two new dorm-mates excited to start their freshman year together, until one decides to decorate their room with a little piece of ‘Southern pride.’

Emmy completed a 36 hour Activity Leader Educational Training August 14-17, 2020 - approved by the California Department of Public Health through Activity Consulting and Training. 

 

7/25/2020: Emmy played 'The  Architect/Sorshala' in the virtual musical production - Off the Beaten Path, directed by recent SDSU Musical Theatre MFA Graduate Eden Hildebrand. #OBPmusical is a multi-platform choose your own adventure style fantasy musical that pays homage to all of the major fantasy franchises. With over 25 possible variations of the show, there is almost no possible way that you’ll be able to watch the same show twice!

Emmy graduated from San Diego State University (virtual commencement ceremony) with her Bachelor of Arts Degree on May 16, 2020. Major: Theatre Arts Performance:(Acting/Musical Theatre) and Minor: Gerontology.

Emmy performed in the 'virtual' SDSU's  'Revolution Awaits' Patchwork Theatre Festival in an original 10-minute play - 'You Don't Define Me'  on Sunday, May 10, 2020. She played the role of Mira. 

 

Emmy performed in a Theatre Repertory Ensemble at the Graduate Recital for SDSU School of Music Masters Student Erika Gamez, (for Erika's partial fulfillment of a Master of Music in Wind Conducting)  on Friday, March 13, 2020 at SDSU. There were excerpts from: Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,  A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Hamilton and Wicked.

 

Emmy played Lynne Lacey Lewis in a cast recording of 'Til Death Do Us Part at SDSU March 12, 2020 at the Don Powell Theatre. Music and Lyrics by Bobby Cronin, Book by Caroline Prugh. Directed by Stephen Brotebeck.

Emmy performed in a back up chorus (one of 12 SDSU graduate and undergraduate students) with the legendary Irish Folk band The Chieftains on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego.

Emmy played 'Grace' in a staged reading of  Modern (book and lyrics by Selda Sahin; Music by Derek Gregor) at SDSU on January 31 at 3:30 pm at the Experimental Theatre. Modern is Directed by Shane Mims with Musical Direction by Richard Morrison (both MFA Musical Theatre Students).  More info at:

Emmy participated in a panel discussion for a musical theatre dance class and was vocally coached in a master class at the Musical Theatre Educators Association Conference at SDSU,  January, 2020

Emmy was featured as 1st Customer/Ensemble in SDSU's Fall production of "She Loves Me", December 4-8, 2019.

Emmy recently performed as an Acolyte in the New West Evolving Arts and Music Organization of El Colibri Magico

(The Magic Hummingbird) - A California Story on October 13th at Smith Recital Hall, SDSU. Emmy is past President of the Musical Theatre Club at San Diego State University

Emmy played "Spider" in SDSU's Spring, 2019 production of "James and the Giant Peach"
